It's Another Hot Pink Jam

This Wednesday jam is one where I am coming from Jazz Guitar Camp where everyone from the camp goes to the Birdland to watch the teachers perform except form me as I go to Deadstein to rock my socks off after a quiet week of contained music. It was especially intriguinging as we had Alisa there for another week with us. Additionally Drew was there to enjoy the action. I thought this night felt special in the commradery we had in the band playing off the excitement that Alisa brought to the jam while creating great moving music to bring us all along for a great ride. On my drive back to camp I was thinking how great the camp, jazz experience is with all those great players and the community I am involved with playing great music, but nothing compares to the vortex of Deadstein and what that brings when it is spinning right.

You also have to check out Alisa singing on the Blue Moon and Night and Day, two of the songs I had been playing during the week at the jazz camp. She is tremendous. These are are available on video at the end of the playlist for the Youtube video. They are really good!!!
