Guest poster sitting in for the Gind who is on his way to a Maryland Schmecklectomy. Mazel Tov and safe travels. Let me say hat a wonderful night tonight was. It met all my longest held Deadstein dreams. Scott Gibson singing the high parts with precision and warmth the likes of which I rarely heard out of anyone. Gind and Brotman switching off between mandolin and banjo. Uncle John’s is interesting and the Bobby McGee is very sweet indeed. Excellent Lay Me Down and El Paso. Johnny makes the key BK run and we are back at it with Dave on the bass. Solid Birdsong, but the High Time and Black Peter really stand out. A most enjoyable way to spend my birthday, Thanks alot guys, I can’t wait till next year

The annual L.B. Birthday jam was, as always very cool. The highlights were very apparent and mentioned above. Brotman on banjo??? Dave on bass>>>>>Gind on mandolin & banjo.. I'm trying to get Kev to come sit next to me and check out his chops at the kit. Maybe one day???? All of this always makes for a very interesting night of Deadstein. I want to take this time to wish Kevin and Gail much success and most of all health & happiness in their new business venture. "WHAT A LONG STRANGE TRIP IT'S BEEN" Love Ya Man'
