Stu was our only guest on a Tuesday night
in Smash Studios R and MiniT was missed on her debut of an entire Grateful Dead show as
she had other pressing matters to attend to. That left the rest of Deadstein to play
Kevin's first show, Binghamton, NY from 4-12-03. Broome County Arena, general
admission, Milton the Wind and the rest. Wow, we did a good job getting through
almost all of the big setlist and only left a few songs out. All these big epic
songs must have been a challenge for Coffee-Boy who encountered many songs fir the first
time. We did a good job of it though. Kevin gave us a big effort considering
the bubble gum, pearl and blueberry that was being bounced around. It wasn't easy to
maintain coherency and he didn't but at least we got a good night of big music in.
Long powerful stuff and that more than she said. For
knowledge sake, the recording setup was: Drive A "4-22-03- ject #0"
