Let It Rock to start the night was like many of our recent starts, just feels good to be off the line and playing music. Like walking down the fairway of the first whole after getting off the tee or taking your first few paddles after placing the kayak in the river. It's is just great to be actually doing the thing you planned on doing for so long.

We did a double Dire Wolf after thinking if we played it with more pep and better knowledge of the song we would be in a better position to perform a better version, and we were right. Mr. Charlie felt good up to the very ending as I was trying to pull of some the tricks and moves I recently learned from a Joe Pass blues video. While not the best week, it wasn't a weak week. Actually better in recording than it was live, as is usually the case.

Freak Out!
