The date of the next jam is scheduled for Thursday, May 10, 2001 at at Carroll's Instrument Rental on 41st street between 8th & 9th Avenues but very close to 9th., 7pm - 11pm   The week after that is Tuesday.

Except for Andy T.., the whole band was there at Carroll's.  There were plenty of good moments, few bad ones and an overall good night.  Michael from Carpetsteen was there to enjoy the festivities and Teffilin Ken was there at the start.  As a matter of fact I was late and walked into him playing guitar and singing some Rolling Stones song that sounded really good.  We got the whole setlist in plus one or two extras.

The night was hot and stuffy and then cold but the people a Carroll's seem to do their best to take care of us.

Till next Thursday.

hi! grate jam! really enjoyed most of it. Friend of the Devil was an absolute stunner! the Let it Grow ended up being gigantic afte it was done growing. The H>S>F to end the gig was a tower or power. real skoppy....as far as theheat is concerned, all you got to do is ask, and they drop the temp in the room 20 degrees in 20 minutes. Nice girl that Carroll.

Gind, grate work on the disc, although your on-disc-writing needs work! I need the additional tech info.

I have been informed that we must move our jam to Wed the 15th if we are to have a lead guitarist to compliment the stylings of Gindoff....unless there are objections?

I can play Tuesday the 15th. The 16th is no good for me. I would be happy to play all lead though if given the opportunity.

How are everybody's recent CD's. I got a new recorder to unveil for the next jam that hopefully provides better sounding tapes, with few digital glitches nd faster turn around on getting it from the receorder to the final CD.

Thank you all for letting me participate with your group last week. For me it was one of the best sounding Deadstein jams I have attended. The four part harmonies with Tom, Larry and John on FOD were awesome. Dave's drumming was the best I have heard from him. Larry, Scott, and Rich were obviously Philled with musical inspiration. Gind used the space without Trister to explore his musical event horizon. I will look forward to our next meeting.
