The date of the next jam is who know when?

Right Click Here and do a "File Save As" to Download the Morning Dew soundboards from this jam as a MP3 file.  It's 7MB big, so its for you cable modem people.

Well it was the first jam without a home and we did it at SIR Studios on 25th Street.  It was an excellent studio, way too expensive but the place was great.  It sounded great, it was cool and convenient and we got a good sounding soundboard out of it.  Short of all of this, it was great to play with Deadstein again!.  It's the first step that is the toughest and we'll only get better at walking.  Maybe Kevin could hook us up with a weekly gig at Makor where you you'll be able to  Daven to Deadstein all night long.

Only Andy wasn't there and Johnny was there.  Kevin had a furniture guest who seemed to dig us.  I was having real de-je-vous seeing Hey Tom Banjo behind the bongos at SIR, that where I first met him at the Davefest.  It was a full night of high quality, high energy music.

We met at the Diner on 22nd and 10th before the jam for a wide variety of food.  I had the meatloaf with broccoli rabe and mashed potatoes.  Not too bad although I was burping it up all night long.  Good news on the Jersey commuter front in that the Dunkin Donuts is now open just outside the Holland Tunnel on the way home.  This is good in that you get same night postings from me.

hobi frobends---well i'm just putting the final touches of dismantalization of Cortel Drugs in almost christ-cross baring type fashion (no blasphemy intended)---and all i can think is that smooth transition of NFA-MASONS-NFA and the rooster and the first five songs and the next three---ok i'm babbling.....seriously I thought it sounded great, good listening, good communication, good turning the bass amp bass manufacturer anticipated specs... i really needed that.....DEADSTEIN LIVES !!!

Deadstein Does Live !!! Kudos to SIR.... I thought we sounded great in the room. What a pleasure to hear all the vocals and instruments so clearly. My drum kit had a real good sound. Dave, would you call Vinny's on 27th street and compare apples to apples. I'm asking because you have the laundry list of product. Thanks again for hooking up a great evening. Trister, hope to see you next week. Dave, LOL with your transition.

I have posting a copy of the Morning Dew from last night on our web site. (http://www.deadstein.com/realaudio/Morning Dew.mp3) You can download it to the left of the setlist or just type this address in your browser and figure out what to do. It's off of the soundboard DAT we made last night which sounds very good except for Kevin who bass clips the tape somewhere and my guitar which only has a shadow of itself on the tape. Short of that the tape sounds great, Larry and Tom Banjo both sound very good and it's hot to boot.

Ok, I am jealous. I must be the only one who will not be able to hear that! Any chance that you can make a disc out of that Datt, Larry? I also enjoyed hearing us for a change! Yes, comparing apples to apples is always a good idea! There were alot of highlights, but the main one was actually playing again! I also got a kick out of all those faces for dinner!

There certainly was something goin’ on last nite, what it is ain’t exactly clear (freaky, but not clear). The first step into our future was curiously reminiscent of our past. Deadstein sounded and felt like Perry St. We had our Ol’ Spacey Mojo working. Nothing wrong with that. Full speed ahead.

Definately a hi-quality nite. A place as classy as SIR, though pricey forces us to be focused and play well. I'd be interested in cloning those soundboard DATs if CDs are not being made. Lets do it again.

CALLING ALL DEADSTEIN, CALLING ALL DEADSTEIN!!!

Dave is too busy becoming Duayne Reediscized, so I called SIR after speaking to him and Larry Brent. The feeling from the 3 of us is: Yes it is alot of $$, but it sounded real nice, and maybe, we should spend some $$ over the next little while to get some primo SBDs of some of our tighter material. With that in mind, I called SIR and booked the medium room with the same lineup for the same price(we were in the small room) for Thursday night from 7-11. Why? because he was booked solid in every room for the rest of the week starting on Monday pm.

So Sing out Deadstein, I promised Mark Allen a response soon. 1. Does what I said carry water? 2. Is that ok? 3. Can you play on Thursday pm? Let's go my friends!

yes, after 6pm parking is ok. Should we meet at the Diner, the pizza place next door (fresh brick over stuff) or Jerry's on the corner ? (looks alittle upscale.)

LOL! I enjoy it. Getting out there, watching my breath turn frosty. Breaking out in a full sweat, clearing a path, waiting for the plow to come to do the driveway, and then shoveling some more. putting down sand. it is a treat!

Andy, I ordered a Fender Twin for you for thursday. If that is ok, sat nothing.

How about we try the pizzeria next door to the diner at 6pm. They make a fresh pie, and maybe, I can get a diet soda.
