Carroll's 55th Street - A Very Solid Night with Larry Playing The Lead
Stu called for an I know You Rider To open the night. It seemed a bit odd, so at Lee's request we threw in the Mississippi Halfstep before the Rider to give it some validity as we both saw that one and only combo at the Brendan Byrne Arena in the 80's. It was a rock solid opener and the night continued as such through out.
I failed to record a very nice Big Railroad Blues that we did= but I was happy I captured the as good as it gets Brother Esau. Lots of good songs and not to many bad moments. Lazy Lightning was really good as was the Cumberland. I even through the Ripple was about as good as we do it so cheers all around.
