We were in the Studio R of Smash Studios.   Standard Deadstein rockin' loud and relaxed.  Stu, some girl?, Gene, whose birthday it was and Donny H. were all guest for the evening.  Stu was extremely soothed by the controversial Franklin's which has been place on the ver-boten list.   It was tough getting this jam together.  The timing, Monday, Tues. or Wed was tough.  Trister was able to switch plans around to make it, cool.

I didn't record and it was a nice relaxing evening.  I ended up singing lots so lots for the night.  There was virtually no traffic and I met Kevin for a C-5 Steak and Beans and Rice platter before the jam.  We hung out with the apologetic, guilt ridden German before the show.  The amps in the room sucked.  Donny was figuring ways to screw the world with excel and PowerPoint during the jam and I sung about it during the Lost Sailor.

Don't forget to do a search on Virgils.  There was a Newschannel 4 TV interview on the other side of the glass to the control room adjacent to studio R and the interviewers were watch Deadstein do what it does the most.

Till next Tuesday at Carrol's with Coffee Boy and back to the double Drummer.  Get Psyched.

Dave gets MVP for "To Sir With Love" from 11/5. We were really close to a buy take on that one.

It's ironic how Most Vexed Person works with "MVP". Hey is there anyone in this band seeing the Other Ones? I thought not, how cool.

Trister really deserves MVP honors. Tremendous Herculean effort on his part to make this weeks jam. Wednesday being a 'do not even think about this day' issue for him, he re-shuffled his family life at the last minute in order to play. I tip my hat in appreciation and respect for his deadication and love of all things Freak. Actions speak louder than words, and nothing's louder than Deadstein.

I hear 'ya loud and clear Trister.

Uh...I'm seeing The Other Ones at MSG, Tuesday the 26th. The implications are painfully obvious.

Don't tell me T. byrne cannot play cause she's going to the Other Ones. I would respect that, but if anyone wants to miss us for that, well phooey on them and phooey on Bob trying his best to look like Jerry. I guess you can't blame him, what's he gonna try to look like Phil? he's got the liver of a jerk. Not my words but Micky's.

Actually there's no irony in the "MVP" thing, its just a coincidence. And, I should know because in my song "Ironic" there are no ironic things, just a lot of sucky things that happens. Who is Deadstein anyway? Well, great website and now i've got one hand in my pocket and the other holding a virgils menu.

I've seen Alanis Morisette and all she would do with a Virgil's menu os hold it as opposed to using it. Now Jerry Garcia, he's a guy who looks like he would enjoy Memphis Ribs and Maple Butter. Maybe next Tuesday, instead of Caroll's we should go to Virgils. It really sounds good.
