There was no Trisiter but short of him we had a full band.  The only guest at Caroll's for the night was Michael Carpetsteen who was a big help to me in getting all the taping stuff setup.  That's right, Larry's friends Marty and Judy showed for a song or two.  I don't think we played too well.  Uncle John's may have been our best song.  It seemed solid.

Till next Tuesday.

Yeah, that sounds right. Burn the tape. TheGind lugs in a million dollars worth of equipment, thousands of feet of cable, spends hours setting-up and according to your fuzzy recollection, you didn't like the bands' performance. So before you actually hear what we did last nite, which is digitally documented by TheGind, he should negate all his efforts and burn the tape, on your say-so.

You is nuts.

What was wrong with Scarlet -> Estimated?

Deadstein is for celebration, not criticism.

Now that's the spirit FreakyFreakungollo !!

Keep it up. You're well on the way to earning your Freaksmanship badge.

Remember, Deadstein by nature of it's true essence, cannot contain Neg. Conversely, Neg cannot exist within the context of Deadstein.

I kind of remember Looks Like Rain blowing the roof off the joint, as well as groovy and tender moments in She Belongs To Me, Mr. Charlie, and the Deadstein Boogie Jam that started the night. I'm looking forward to hearing the recording. And if we're trying to get "complete takes" of songs to compile on CD there's always the power of editing.

I like Scott's list. It's better than tinkering to get a classic rock and roll riff to sound good on the Marshall, while not knowing how to implement the song. Window dressing without a window makes for a cold blustery night.

By the way Banjo, what other guitar amps can we rent? I assume I would also traditionally prefer a Marshall to the Rolands we always get if those are the only two available.

I also prefer a Garband night. Plus a little Doors...but DO NOT BRING that Elton John top 40 sh*t in and expect it to be played....B-sides only!

Gind, ROlands are the studio amp of choice. I got a one-time marshall thrown in cause Ray answered the phone and he loves Deadstein. There is no choice, really. But, I'll bet you can rent almost anything there.
