Next jam is next Tuesday, February 22, 2000.

As you can tell by the setlist, Kevin was no where to be seen.  The food order was all I could muster up to scan for the evening.  The actual setlist was derived by passing the tape card around the table and everyone writing down some songs they wanted. It worked well except for the Feel Like a Stranger vetoed by Andy.  Instead, we played and Eyes of the World.  A fair trade and it was good.  We had some mellow  yet solid grooves going. and the first song of the night, a brilliantly executed How Sweet It Is let us know we were on and focused for the night.  That's more than we can say about the nicks and the Rangers who both had disappointing nights.

Low points included an aborted Built to Last, a terrible Brokedown and a flawed abrupt ending to the Getaway.  Toss those faux-pas out and we had a pretty good night.  Larry survived, Scott barely stayed up through the end but we did make it.

There were no guests at all and Kevin is going through what Andy seems to be getting over.  Andy  limped in there with a grimace over his aura but left with Karma to spare.  Deadstein lifting the spirit high.

The food from Deliciozo was well below average.  Pizza was overly saucy and they didn't give us instructions on how to find the butter they gave us.  The knots were soggy.  They did deliver some poor quality ice cream but t was nice nevertheless.  I think we should get into the www.UrbanFetch.com for some of our more common needs in the future, a nice wide variety of accoutrements, free delivery, wide variety and they don't accept tips.  I don't think they have a minimum.  Desserts, cakes, drinks, chips, candy, etc.

Till next Tuesday.

Remember, A good VIRGIL's rib and maple butter woof fest could be what the virus/flu doctor suggests. Then again - I think mixing up the food vendors adds that special freaky surprise that could either send your Let It Grow over the top or send Freakboy puking onto 38th street. Either way - happy jamming dudes. Steele

Dave brought to my attention that when I write nice posts about some of the band members, other band members might be insulted if I do not write nice things about them. So here goes.....

How about that Dave? He makes us laugh with his quick, witty sense of humor. I'm really glad he's my friend. I'm sure glad he's not my enemy.

Steele is a genius. Theres no reason why we can't get a Virgil's thing going. I love that place. Heres hoping for a speedy revovery for FREAKLE. Lisa & I enjoyed having all of you at our new home. Thanks to all.... This weeks jam was filled with the stuff I love. As tired as I was, I managed to keep the shit happening. I can't believe how quiet the band got on a few of those tunes. I barely thought I was playing. 3 day weekend > tuesday jam... get into that.

Thanks for the kind words dudes. You sure do send some pos vibes up here in the chilly Beantown. Scott, I heard your get together was awesome. You are a quite a host dude. I'm glad you guys are psyched for Virgil's. A little rib/butter combo is always a treat - maybe go with a late dinner so the playing doesn't end early due to rib dizzyness. I know Johnny has been a little nutty lately - please try and make him fit into your good graces. I also was told that Johnny was on a date two weeks ago and woke up in the middle of the night to his lady date FINGERING HIM! OH WELL - what a crazy world.... keep jammin' Steele

I'm beginning to feel like a marketing tool for Larry Keel. Is this a parasitic or a symbiotic relationship? What do we get out of this deal? The guy has never even jammed with us. I saw them, they were good, but I don't understand the constant hawking on the website. I would have posted this in the forum section but its so full of frantic pleas for advance ticket sales for LK that I was afraid it wouldn't be noticed.....

By supporting Larry Keel we do get some Kind Freakiness week in and week out of it so I support it. The synergy is mind blowing. They'll be by to jam some day anyway.

Synergy my ass. You wanna see synergy, watch Johhny with the Rigatoni/Vodka sauce. Watch Dave start a fight over what color shirt Gilmour wore at the Garden in '74. THAT'S synergy, not this LKE nonsense. Maybe I'm missing something......

i don't think either of you understand the definition of synergy----johnny and the rigatoni--->that's hungergy, me at the floyd show, that's welcome to the machinergy or maybe set the controlls for the heart of the sunergy---as far as us and the LKE, thats good karma, maybe instant karma, maybe even instant karmel custard, but not synergy, synergy is a molecule of radioactive U-238 injected into a fision reaction, synergy is a set of prostetic hands given to a chronic masturbator who had his hands cut off in a tragic motorboat accident now thats synergy !!!
