Dave's Brooklyn Apartment
Five days after Deadstein's first jam on October 9, 1990, Larry B, Larry G. Dave S and Kevin got together to practice what was just played. We assembled at Dave's apartment in Brooklyn and I recall plugging into Dave's PA system and somehow there is this recording captured from cassette that is a soundboard/room mix for the first set. The recording and playing isn't the greatest thing but it is a window into the development of early Deadstein.
The first set is electric music while the second set feature's Dave on acoustic guitar accompanying the two Larry, also on acoustic, with Kevin on his bass. You can hear Dave breathing into the microphones during the Eyes of the world. I'm glad it was only during that song.
