It was great to have all the boys back and then some to make for a very intense evening. Quite the sound in the room. I don't think anyone left dissapointed.

What a fun time. The Wind was revved and ready to go: Bird Song was actually a continuation of a jam we started earlier in the afternoon in my basement in Rye. Going into The Other Wind, he really ripped it open...YIKES! Other stuff I remember clearly includes nice jam closing Jack Straw, Sugaree (missed the smoochin' from my corner), Rider...Playin (very nice)...Music (hot!)...Dew (extra hot...maybe even hotter than that!!) and a smokin Saturday Nite. All I can say is WOW.

I left in a daze, and forgot all sorts of things (thanks to Menaker for picking up after me!)...once I get the camera back I'll do some scans for posting. I think Mitch got a few choice pics...we'll see. Anyway, they'll be great momentos for the Wind and me.

You guys are extremely lucky to have this Deadstein thing in your lives, and I shared some of it the other nite. Thanks to all for a real good time.

Larry seeing these pictures breaks my heart. Some great memories are flooding back. As for the jam, a great time. There were some of those moments where everyone was just locked in. I live for those times where everyone's floating in the same cloud...and it sounds good too! An inspiration for me. I can't remember the last time I was part of a jam like that. Might have been the first time I was a Deadstein guest. I don't know if I can wait another year to do it again.

The Sugaree was hot, during one of the Jams a thought Brian and Larry B. were going to hug and kiss it was so hot. The Big River was too fast for Brian to keep up with unofrtunately therefore we couldn't get his best stuff

I think I did see L.B. and Stormy kiss at one point during Sugaree. It deserved a kiss Big , Big night to end 1996 for Deadstein. I'm sure just a taste for what 97' will bring for us HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

There were plenty of moments, but I was smoked during the Other One! Riding a wave created by the drums and bass, I'm not sure what it sounded like, but I was just dancing. I can still feel the vibe from that jam. Awesome!

     Half Time Food & Comments:

The was no half time food but Scott did buy Greek for for those who were there. The one bite of Baklavah I had was great. I did manage to eat a pork by-product sandwich from the corner deli on the way home. That's good!

the before jam eats was interesting as it always is. started with the AM call to me from kev requesting gyros. tried karavas at sheridan square tasty gyro until I got a call from mrs.gibson to bring the car home for an emergency trip to hoboken. I returned within minutes to finish my gyro. The gyro and baklava were very good, the fries were not what were used to "sorry" not much time to get feedback from kev or menaker on ther food. Holiday bownies at the end of the night were a little to rich and had a acidic after taste as per the gind. anyway there will be interesting half time food for 1997.

    Animated WeatherWeather:

It was a bit chilly but with the hot music and all the bodies, no one was cold. Actually I don't know I did survey them all.
