May the Muses long descend to attend your Jams; infesting them with sonorities both pleasing and mysterious as They guide you along the trail back to the Land of Wonder and Awe, infusing your collective consciousness w/ boundless curiousity and creativity-- at least until the set-break.... and may Deadstein (like this sentence) run on forever and ever and ever and ever>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> :-)

Hi Larry! Storm just showed me this site. Awesome! Its quite a treat to see pictures of all you guys that Storm always talks about. Sounds like you guys had a real blast. Storm and I have started playing every week along with a bass player. Its nothing compared to the full sounding band that you guys have. We alternate between Dead songs and my songs. He's teaching me some good dead....takes a lot out of him cause before meeting him in 1989, I'd never heard of the Dead (growing up in India). Would love to hear you guys sometime. Any plans to put up some AVI files or Realaudio sound archives here?!

Would love to chat more about Web things too!

Jay

Hey now Freaks,

Would you be interested in putting your Grateful Dead cover/tribute band on national tour? I am. The Suns of the Dead are wanting to tour. It occured to me that if many GD tribute bands came together we could do a national tour successfully.

If you are interested please contact me.

Jeanette C. Doney Suns of the Dead 215 El Porto Street Manhattan Beach, CA 90266-3126 (310) 546-5996

I will be requesting

A rider tape expense proposal ( what do you need to be paid )

I am looking to build a crew What have you got to contribute?

DEADFREAKS UNITE Where are you? Who are you?

Please call and let's talk

Just stopping in to say hi. Hope you guys are doing well. When are you playing in NYC? Did I miss it? I've been moving, so I've been out of touch.

Hey Menaker - check it out - I have an e-mail address. Finally! Let me know how to reach you.

Hope to see you guys soon. The page is great!

Great web page!.  I plan on being in NY Aug 14th-18th. Maybe you could schedule a jam on Thursday the 14th. I know it would probably be easier to get Kevin to turn down his amp but it doesn't hurt to ask. By the way, Steele's roomate, Keith, is staying with me for a few days on his month-long X-country trek to Santa Fe. The neighboors are checking the milk cartons to see if he has been reported missing. He is one krispy kritter! That's all for now. Long live the Krispy Kremes! :-}

It's me again. This is very funny. I just looked at the bio you have on Scott, and the photo of him at Feathers is what I was referring to in my previous comment. In that photo, we are playing Coming Into Los Angeles in our first ever live performance. That's me on the right.

I get indigestion just reading your menus. The set lists are far tastier. Keith (Steele's roomie) update...He's driving in circles somewhere in Santa Fe screaming, "Jerry sucks!"...Poor guy. Think August 14th jam... major scoppiness with Paul Pos. Merry burpage...

hmmm...RE:7/31/99- I'm married to Laura Cohen, but I suspect it's a different one- anyway I'm one of those late 40's ish guys that doesn't know when to sell out all the way & insists on catching a couple of Phil's shows each time around, along with Gov't Mule, Tuna, and various blues & boogie type events, although I recently checked out Vans Warped Tour on a roasting August afternoon. OK- I'm not Jewish but I know Jewish babes are the way to go...
