Kevin let me know that Donnie was in town and asked me to bring him a guitar to play. I brought him my Nashville Telecaster and a book and he was off to the races. Sounding a bit scary when you would hear the practice notes from Donnie, but he played within himself when the songs started and the whole night was a positive experience for us all. Donnie called the entire setlist of songs that we played as we played them, and it was a bountiful selection of songs.
