Yup, this week we learned of the passing of the great Kris Kistofferson who wrote our beloved Me and Bobby McGee which we have performed so many times. It's also the one year anniversary where we remember the brutal attack on Israel. We will all be together forever and ever when we make it to the Promised Land. Life is tough out there and we have to keep on truckin', and do the very best that we can while we're travelin' through the land.
A very nice surprise for me was when Andy pulled out the Dear Prudence. Kevin doesn't like playing it, but could deny Andy and it was nice. Nothing like a 37-minute Estimated Eyes Miracle Bertha to send Andy packing for the night, but it was some good stuff. I continued till the end of the night with our own 30-minute Playing Crazy Fingers medley.
