We had a full band back together this week with Andy on lead and Drew and Lee on the drums. As it was May 9, I had Buffalo 1977 on the mind so I decided to take the great leap of faith into an opening Help on the Way Slipknot! Franklins to open the night. While not our best it was pretty good for a blind leap of faith.

The rest of the night followed suit with many solid songs culminating it was was a very ambitious and rewarding first set.

With me on solo guitar and the candle burning dim into the late hours of the night, we pushed through the death zone to finish of the night nicely. The few Garcia songs we started with were all Drew and Kevin could bear so we did end with a nice closing Grateful Dead assortment. Overall, another good sounding night for Deadstein.
