It was a Thursday night Core Four evening with Lee on drums. I was excited to introduce every one to my new friend on my peddle board, DrumBuddy. He is an electronic drummer who I programmed for many Grateful Dead song prior to the jam and was ready to pair him with Lee. I think it was one of the best fake drumming experiences we have ever had and it definitely helped us keep a stead time. For the time and place, it was a nice addition. I also ha a new looper on my pedal board called Aeros which synchronized with the DrumBuddy and I successfully threw in some loops during the Let It Grow Jam and that was pretty cool how it worked seamlessly.
For the first time in a long time I I didn't get a good multi-track recording as my Original 2013 MacBook came up lame when I went to turn it on and I have to say I think it is officially dead. It provided great service to us. Instead, I was able to use the recording from the Zoom QN2 video camera, and coupled with a pretty good angle, made a nice memory of the evening.
Freak Out!
