There were no guests except for the unexpected return of Tefillin-Ken who did as his namesake says and filled in for Larry as he came and went.  Still a little hung over and critical from the TePHILin lesh Tour to put up with our cacophony.

The darkness of daylight savings time besets us with the oncoming briskness of old man winter.

TefillinforLLB Ken rules. I love those tasy Robert Cray/SRV licks and the vocal work. Tommy snappa who? Blessed be the bearded one.

sooo, tell him to put on his dress and get in for the photo. I thought the reason he was not in was that he was not a band member? Isn't the forum question: Freakboy- band member or fan (or something like that)?

A happy halloween to all in Deadstein Land. Whoooooooooooo is the freakiest member of Deadstein in all the land. Whooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hootenany I say. It is the kooky crazy sleeping guy who claims he is chronically fatigued. What? are you talking about. I love batgirl. She knocked me over the head with glass and made me feel real goofy. Maybe if there is a camera for the banjo guy, freakboy can be photographed as well. Phreakboy is Freakboy who enjoys Phil. Is anyone wearing a crazy costume tonight? I am going as freakboy.

Met the guy (Lew Morenstein) who produced that moondance album. 20 yr later, and he is still introducing himslef as the guy that produced that album. made him rich.

What do guys think about going to a recording studio right after we get kicked out of Scotts to obtain some good sounding tapes of Deadstein as opposed to just rehersal? Maybe we could pick 8 songs or so to practice and go over the next several weeks, get them to a higher level by practicing and going over and knowing each other's parts and being prepared to make a kick ass record. I have a feeling a recoridng studio doesn't cost that much more than a rehersal studio. $50 bucks/hour vs. $30 or in that range. To do it after a few weeks of practice may yeild some nice result without too much expense or hassle. Especially if we all know we have a few songs to practice, go over at home and eliminate bad habits we have all picked up over the last 10 years. Just a thought. It's something to get excite about leaving Scott's for.
