Playing next week is Tuesday?

Blessed Be the Freak

I wasn't there for the fun and I have no idea what went on. I know I didn't use my strat, I didn't use my Twin, I didn't use my POD and I didn't play drums.  My garlic knots have cheese and my bread has no butter.  Meanwhile the MCMUA still rolls along.  I hope the citizens of Morris County appreciate the sacrfices I make to dispose of their garbage.

Let's give TheGind his 'dew'. God bless him and his effort ; a post in absentia? He is super-kind. Trister overcame his fear of intermittent electronic enigma by realizing the needs of the fuzz, out-weigh the needs of the noisy. A correct decision that we all benefited from. That little box has the potential to 'ice the cake'. L.L.Brent had the gumption to go out and buy 2 adapters, they enabled delay & reverb to be added to the PA. L.L.Brent took advantage of the wetness and handled the extra guitar responsibility beautifully. He and I filled the hole left by TheGind's civic duty (although we were foolish to attempt the China/Rider without TheGind. No one fills that hole except him and Bobby ((that's what she said)) ). There was a cute moment between the drummers at one point during the Slipknot, Dave did a fill that was reminiscent of Jerry Lewis falling off a ladder and knocking over cans of paint, and Scotty, upon hearing this, gave Dave an adorable little smirk and giggle, which I had the pleasure to witness. Great stuff. That's why I go to every show.

Nice week sans the gind, tho he was sorely missed in places.A heavy dose of In the Dark to start, the best bucket ever by deadstein, followed by touch. Then came a very early dinner and we returned with Werewolves of London. We probably ought to leave that one alone for a while. Next came Throwin Stones and I must say I am SICK of this song, it does nothing at all for me. Next up was a sweet Candyman with beautiful backing vocals by Scotty. If the rest of you lugs ever give us the chance, we might just be able to deliver some respectable vocal harmony. The Help> Slip Franklin's didn't make the tape and I left off at the Uncle John's which trister whipped up into a mighty tasty jam . More later.
