Another hot night of music in Studio A of Smash Studios.  Stu (Roy) was our only guest for the night and he was kind enough to get us all a tasty beverage so I thank him for that.  hey we are really coming into our own, playing comfortable and confidently sometimes with a little too much comfort and confidence.  We seem to have it together nevertheless.  Only did we faulter during the Picasso that took and couple of tries and a few stops to get through.  The Ship never made it to fruition but everything else came off well.

Trister was having speaker jack-amp problems at the end of Sugaree resulting in a premature end of set.  Somehow, it got fixed and we continued on for the second set.  The break gave us all time to enjoy some of the new amazing CD's I handed out.   This included the 5 CD set ofrom 4-25-02, 4-30-02, and 5-6-02.   The end of the Banjo era.  Also handed out were 11 of the songs from 6-25-02 the beginning of the Terez era.  There are some great sounding songs on that CD and we get her again next week.  So pull up your boots, watch your cussing, spitting and burping and get set for a big week of music on Tuesday.  lets get the setlist out by Friday night so we all have the weekend to practice and listen in preparation.

I didn't tape this night resting for the week ahead.  I just received my new Mackie MDR 24/96 24 track deck so let's see if it make it's premier next week.  There still prenty I/0 cards and wiring to buy but I may just be able to get it to work as an 8-tracker by Tuesday.

Till next Tuesday.

I was listening to that 7-12-87 Giant's Stadium Dylan Dead CD I made for most every one on the way into work this morning. Today is the 15 year anniversary of that great show and it was great to remember it with the CD. It really was one of the great Grateful Dead events I ever attended, so give it a listen for Jerry's sake. That show also reminds me of how Deadstein played last time with Terez and how we will hopefully play next time with er next week. Actually the 7/4/87 Foxboro Show reminded me the most of our first Terexz experience as it was the Dead's first with Dylan and hopefully next wek will remind me of 7-12-87 when the Dead really hit the marks and had a phenominal show.

I am enjoying the 5 disc set I got as well. You all sound wonderful! Kevin Dropping bombs, Andy slashing, and Dave, Gind and Richie operating like Rhythm Devils. I thank you once again for the opportunity that I had to make music with you all, and for making me sound so good. I just got through listenning to the Death Don't>GDTRFB>AM Dew> NFA as I got out of the car to go to work. It is worth listenning to again. VIVA DEADSTEIN!

The continual flow of goodness is mind-blowing. I am humbled by it, and can only give thanks and double my efforts to spread it to the freaky.

Kevin, you think you made a mistake. I had finished 4 Gray's Papaya hot dogs by the time I dropped Rich off in Battery Park City. This included a burp around 14th Street that I still apologize to Rich for and fee bad about. I do love those red onions though.

Kevin is right, in all honesty, it was no mistake. Next week we'll sing a song about it, My Favorite Mistake because to call it my Favorite Hot Dog would just be too literal.

I don't so much mind the hot dogs, red onions or the resulting burps. I was a little worried watching Larry operate the steering wheel with his knees down 9th Avenue while eating multiple hot dogs with two hands and having a discussion about how many tracks will be operational for recording next Tuesday. I guess this is just another one of The Ginds many skills, and I got home safe and sound. Thanks for the ride.

Woo, just to let everyone know. I just last night finished the 2nd Terez CD from 6-25-02. New on the disc that no on has heard are: How Sweet It Is, Brown-Eyed Women, Bertha, Johnny B. Goode, Second That Emotion and Scarlet Begonias. Also included are remixes of Dancin in the Streets and After Midnight which you all have heard messed of versions of. This CD sounds as good as the first so get psyched. I vote Trister silver medalist singer of the month. terez get the gold. You'll hear. I look forward to doing it all again on Tuesday.

Hey Gind I remembered to bring my amp but forgot my mic...oh well. And by the way, I have it on excellent authority that Tommy Poisonpoisyprimadonnagollo loves corn.
