The whole band was there to start the build up to the big Tobacco Road gig.  Can't wait till that thing is over.   We had Ken and MiniT's friend Terez as guests for the night.  There were way too many songs we didn't complete last night.  The Immigrant Song was really good and so was the Aiko for MiniT's debut of it. Considering we go a late start and I recorded it was nice how many songs we got to.

Setup and take down for the recording went very smoothly.

For knowledge sake, the recording setup was: Internal Drive A "5-27ject #0"

  1. N/A
  2. Brotpen Vocal
  3. Trister Vocal
  4. N/A
  5. MiniT Vocal
  6. N/A
  7. Trister
  8. Gindoff Guitar
  9. N/A
  10. Snare (Shure SM 57)
  11. Overhead Left
  12. Overhead Right
  13. Keys
  14. Bass Mic
  15. Kick

Kev, Mitch and I ate some Fresco Taco before hand and it was good.  Till next Tuesday

You guys were more than hospitable to my friend,Cindy, from San Francisco. Thank you. You are a charming bunch. She loved us! Of course, we did do our best to influence her in our favor, didn't we? Great to see Kenny as always. The sound was great ...halfway through. Hate to be a diva , .... but I am when it comes to hearing what the hell I'm doing. Thank you for being so patient and accomodating me. It makes a world of difference.

The main thing is the deed. TheGind is all about the action, and I appreciate the effort. That goes for all of Deadstein. We all seem to be in a 'doing' mode. The physical manifestation of all our pent-up freak is quite exciting. Yoink.

I did the mixdown of last week's CD and it's some pretty good stuff. I really like the Immigrant song as well as the Tore Up and the Aiko. Actually, virtually all of it is good. Hopefully I find the time tongiht to make the necessary copies from the 1 copy I have so far.
