We did the round robin of picking songs to play and it was a lot of fun and worked well.  I think we all sang pretty well and the song selection kept us on our toes.  The sun was setting nicely over the western sky in the studios and for our first few songs Dave got the full effect of the sunset in the mirror.  While beautiful, it was difficult to deal with the sunset for it's long duration.  Remember to bring sunglasses next jam. Michael is like to opposite of Kevin from a bass perspective and people were telling him to turn it up. instead of requesting to take hime out of the monitor which he is not in.   Nevertheless, it's great to hear Kevy is okay and that he's not paying for all those cheeseburger cheese omelette sandwiches, yet.

For food Michale and I had the C-5 Fajita platter from across the street which really was good.  Not the While Castle from last week but it was a bulk food festival.  Dave also had nowhere to throw his Dunkin Donut bag.  How are the CD's?

cold rain and snow is the missing song (if it werent for the round robin i may have forgetten it) --- i like the round robin especially if we are going to alternate singing ----song of the night hands down ... the Terrapin, deadstein-like dynamics with good vocals way to go andy ... and i thought the mama mex didnt suck to bad and the sat night was was tight....without tommy b i'm gonna need some spf 45 or a drape for that mirror...as well as some sunglasses.

Just to let you people know if you care: The ElevenSteen, with four old Deadstein members (Larry B, Larry G., Scott and Larry M) will be performing a real short (20 minute) set at Tribecca Blues on Friday night, starting at 7:30 and going to 7:50. The Elevensteen will be one of 10 bands playing the songs of Bob Dylan that night, so if you are around and have nothing to do and want to hear a wonderful rendition of LLB singing a She Belongs Me, show up. If you have to stay at home and take the garbage out well at least it will be free and it won't stink as much. Just kidding.

In addition, Carpetsteen will also be doing an allstar jam on Monday, Memrial Day into Evening at our Studio in Flemington NJ. Anyone and everyone is invited to show up and play if you want but if you have to take the garbage it instead, at least it won't stink. Carpetsteen is free nevertheless and will be a good time for those that take the journey.

Thanks for letting Stu and me drop in for a while - it was great listening to "ya'll" jammin it up.....even though, as I said as I left...I did take the hint when you really got into Alabama Getaway! BUT......I WILL be back! Keep it up fellas~~~~
